like a raindrop slowly running down a window...
like spilt water dripping over the end of a table...
the storm moves in and the rain comes down
the initial shock of the news,
like the eye of a hurricane - silence
then, like the uncontrollable weight of water in the clouds,
tears drip down my cheek
crooked lines of black follow the tear's pattern just as the dark sky travels with the storm
the storm will everntually end, but the destruction will remain a constant reminder
